Meet Sarah
We’ve all felt the pressure to create a beautiful garden but often don’t know where to start. It’s easy to get caught up in trying to control nature's planting, pruning, and perfecting only to find ourselves frustrated and overwhelmed. But what if we stopped for a moment, took a step back, and simply observed? What if we gently interacted with nature instead of fighting her?
In my early years of gardening, I learned this lesson the hard way. As a single mom without a big budget, I had to get creative. I spent hours researching low-cost, sustainable methods and discovered that every path led back to the same approach: work with Mother Nature, not against her.
Healthy soil is at the heart of every thriving garden. I help clients design spaces that honor the land’s prairie, shade, or sun while teaching them to listen to what their garden needs. By adapting your approach, you can save time, energy, and money while creating a beautiful, low-maintenance sanctuary that also protects bees, water, soil, and your own well-being.
It’s my passion to help others do things differently for their own benefit and for the world. When we embrace nature’s rhythm, we find beauty, balance, and peace.
"There can be no other occupation like gardening in which, if you were to creep up behind someone at their work, you would find them smiling."
